Seapoint is a semi-detached house built in the 1930’s but was modernised in the 60’s and again more recently but still it manages to retain a family home feeling. It is situated on the cliff top with uninterrupted views of the beach and headlands. It is one of 8 houses in a private family owned estate, with a tennis court and open grass lawns. It has easy access via steps onto a large sandy beach with safe bathing, and popular with surfers.
The front door leads into a porch of which there is a wet-room with basin and WC. On the ground floor the large lounge/ diner has dual aspect windows benefiting from sun and sea views. There is an open fireplace and 3 comfortable sofas with dining table for 8. (widescreen TV, Video and DVD with free view). The kitchen is well equipped with fridge/freezer,dishwasher,microwave and double oven. A breakfast bar with wooden stools ensures early risers can enjoy sea views through french doors leading onto the lawn.
The gracious stairway leads to the 1st floor with the main double bedroom (4’6″ double bed) with bay windows and spectacular views. wash basin, flat screen TV and oak bedroom furniture. The second bedroom also has a 4’6″ double bed and views across the fields to Cataclew Point. A small bedroom with 2’6″ bunk beds, and a bathroom with a shower over the bath, complete this floor. From the landing a further narrow stairway leads up to the “Crows Nest”, a room in the roof with 4 velux windows to give panoramic views across the bay. There are two 3’0″ single beds under the eaves. The house has oil fired central heating and carpeted through out.
The house has ample grass areas for playing games, parking cars, or sitting at the 2 large picnic tables. The garage houses the washing machine, barbecue, assorted chairs and sun loungers.
In the field there is a newly surfaced hard court tennis court which is shared with the other houses. There is no booking system in operation, and we trust that no one house will monopolise the use of the court, and abide by the rules, ensuring they are wearing appropriate foot wear.
Information and Facilities
- A travel cot is available as is a small babies chair for attachment to tables
- Also included is a telephone with honesty box for outgoing calls and WiFi broadband access.
- Outside parking for several cars, barbecue, various sun loungers and 2 large picnic tables.
- There are extensive lawns and use of a hard court tennis court (shared with other houses in the family owned field)
- There is a restaurant and pub 200 yards and shops 1 mile from the house.
- Cleaning, heating and electricity are included in the rent, linen is not provided but can be arranged for an additional charge.
- Changeover day is Friday moving to Thursday in High season, in by 3pm out by 10am.
- No dogs are permitted and there is a no smoking policy.

NOTES: Rentals are inclusive of electricity, heating and cleaning. Linen is not provided but may be hired if required. At £14 per person.
*The usual changeover day is Friday but during high season it is Thursdays.
Please make enquiries for Christmas and the New Year, other weeks or short breaks please make enquiries minimum of 3 nights at £150 per night.
For new tenants a safety deposit of £250 is required which will be returned once the house has been checked for damages. The tenancy commences at 3pm on day of arrival and ends at 10am on departure day.
A telephone and Wifi broadband is available but tenants are asked to leave money in the honesty box to cover phone calls.
