“Tideways” is a contemporary detached bungalow occupying a stunning position in a large plot immediately above Harlyn Beach. Tideways is one of 8 houses in a private family owned estate, with a tennis court and open grass lawns. It has easy access via steps onto a large sandy beach with safe bathing, and popular with surfers.

Bedrooms
Up to six people can be accommodated in the three bedrooms, all of which have sea views, washbasins and fitted cupboards.
Sitting Room
Large panoramic windows with sea views, television, DVD player and comfortable furniture. Sliding glazed doors to the kitchen. Spectacular sunsets can be seen from this room.
Kitchen/Diner
Fully equipped with fitted double oven, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, separate fridge/freezer, food processor, dining table and six chairs. Patio doors lead direct to a large outside table and stone barbecue.
Bathroom
Very modern bathroom suite and bath with integrated shower unit.
Utility Room
Washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board etc.
Wet Room
Adjacent to the front door with WC, washbasin and large shower cubicle. Ideal when coming back from a visit to the beach
Outside
Shared use of a tennis court, plenty car of parking, grassed area around property and a large wooden bench situated near the top of the cliff for enjoying the views on those balmy summer evenings.
Disability Access
All rooms are situated on the ground floor. There are small steps at the front door and a wooden ramp can be provided if required. Please contact us if you have any specific queries regarding access/egress.
Tennis Court
In the field there is a newly surfaced hard court tennis court which is shared with the other houses. There is no booking system in operation, and we trust that no one house will monopolise the use of the court, and abide by the rules, ensuring they are wearing appropriate foot wear.
Surrounding Area
The property is conveniently situated for exploring the magnificent scenery and picturesque towns and villages of north Cornwall.
Harlyn Beach is in a sheltered, sandy, dog friendly bay and is suitable for swimming, surfing, kayaking etc.
The Harlyn Inn restaurant and pub is 200 yards away near the beach which serves meals and snacks. A watersports shop is adjacent to the Inn. Other shops and a small supermarket are 1 mile from the house.
Padstow is about 4 miles away which can be reached by road or a coastal footpath.
Newquay and Newquay Airport are about 12 miles away.
Information and Facilities
- Up to two well behaved dogs are permitted but guests must advise if dogs are to be included at the time of booking.
- Linen included (but not towels).
- Heating, water and electricity included.
- Wifi and telephone (telephone calls charged separately – see Notes below).
- Occupation commences at 3pm on day of arrival and ends at 11am on day of departure.
- Change-over day is usually Friday.
- Consideration will be given to requests for long stays at reduced rates and short breaks between November and March.
- There is a no smoking policy within the property.

NOTES: A deposit of 25% of the total price is required as soon as your booking has been confirmed, and the balance is due 2 weeks before occupation commences plus a £150 damage deposit which will be returned after departure – less the costs of any damage and telephone charges.
Guests must access the beach by only using the designated cliff top path and steps or via the road.
Guests are not permitted to smoke in the house.
